Description
The Moroto-Kotido route will lead you over 50% wide tarmac and 50% murram main roads. Technically it is quite easy to ride and it also does not contain much elevation. However, with its 107 kilometers, this stage is the longest stage of the Uganda Cycling Trail. We will give you all the kudos if you complete it! Also bear in mind that the semi-arid climate in the Karamoja region can make the area hot, so bring lots of water with you. Kotido is home to the Jié-clan and the largest traditional village in East Africa called Nakapelimoru.
