Description
The first stage is completely situated in Karimojong land in North-east Uganda. You will cycle on wide main roads, mostly unpaved, which will be used by cars and heavy trucks possibly moving at high speed. Pay attention to the challenging climb up to Nakapiripirit around the halfway point of this stage. After passing this small town the road will slowly slope down to Amudat. Enjoy the nice views, the arid environment and the local friendly people on the roadsides.
