Description
Great ride with a good number of challenging climbs on mainly wide dirt roads. Jinja, one of the bigger cities in Uganda, is known for the Source of the River Nile, which you can easily visit by boat. The city is seen as thé adventure capital of Uganda as it is home to several extreme sports such as: bungee jumping, whitewater rafting and kayaking. But there is also plenty for those who would love to relax. Go swimming at the pool of one of the many hotels, go horse riding or play mini golf!

Tips
Don’t take any pictures of the dam or the bridge that crosses the Nile. These are considered military structures and it’s not allowed to take photos of them.
Accommodation

The campsite, a real backpacker’s haven, is located in Bujagali, right next to the River Nile. If you decide to stay here, you should definitely stay in the safari tents overlooking the Nile. Don’t be surprised if a monkey is welcoming you, there are plenty of them around the camp!

This is a sublime location and only reached by boat, which makes it a very adventurous place to stay. This luxurious lodge is located right next to the mighty Nile. The sounds of the Nile are quite hypnotic and calming. And what makes this lodge really unique is the bathing experience right in nature overlooking the wild Nile.
