Description
A boat ride of approximately 4 hours brings you back to the mainland. Once landed, you will be cycling from Entebbe to the capital city Kampala. The route has a couple of climbs and can be described as moderately difficult. Bear in mind that the total distance of 105 kilometers includes the boat ride. The cycling trail has some single track sections, but mostly wide dirt roads. When in Kampala there is plenty to do; visit the famous Gaddafi Mosque (also known as Uganda National Mosque) or go local and visit Owino Market where you can buy literally everything.

Tips
Make sure you reach the ferry on time and buy your ticket on time (prices range from 10,000-14,000 ugx per person), ask your accommodation to help you with this if needed). If you don't arrive on time, it can happen that you have to wait for the next ferry (next day). Make sure to board the ferry as early as possible so you have enough time to reach Kampala. If you don’t manage to make it on time, Entebbe is definitely not the worst place to spend an extra day.
