Description
A wonderful route to the beautiful Ssese Islands that are located in the middle of Lake Victoria, the biggest lake in Africa and the world’s second-largest freshwater lake. The route includes a transfer per boat from the mainland to the largest island of the Ssese archipelago that consists of 84 islands. The route consists of mainly wide gravel roads and some tarmac. On the island of Kalangala, also known as Bugala Island, you will cycle through a landscape with loads of palm oil fields, beaches and don’t be surprised if you get a visit from monkeys.
