Description

The Ntungamo-Mbarara trail starts off with a tarmac main road after which it branches onto a wide dirt road that leads to Mbarara, one of Uganda’s largest cities and known as the cradle home of Ankole longhorn cows. The road can be bumpy with pointy rocks. But be prepared: expect sticky clay if it has rained. There is one massive 250 meters climb just after the halfway point.
